The First Christmas

• It wasn't the same but we did our best•

What would Christmas Eve be without footsies?

But more importantly, what would Christmas Eve be without family?

Christmas Tradition: Try to somehow get everyone to wake-up and get in line from youngest to oldest while my mom films the room filled with presents!
Since Kayli and my mom could not be here, we pulled up a picture of them on the laptop and carried on to try to keep things normal.

Josh filmed in place of my mom and gave us the "okay" when we could finally run in to see our presents!

We look way excited to "finally" be running into the Christmas room. This is just an act, it wasn't our first time being in there all morning! Usually we weren't allowed to step foot in the "Christmas room" until my mom gave us the que, but since she wasn't here we hung out in the Christmas room before even lining up. What a bunch of cheaters right?

When I was a child it seemed that Christmas was the same every year & I loved it that way! But now that I'm older I realized that no matter what we do it's going to be different every year. We can't help that we have changed as life insists we do. We're growing people with different priorites and different lives. Which is probably a good thing, as hard as it is to admit. Is it not the whole purpose of our being? Anyways, Christmas was still so much fun even in it's all sorts of differentness.

The Ideal Body

It's so true, although society is leaning towards the pressure of having muscle more than skinny these days, I still believe it is unhealthy to have it determine your whole worth like so many woman do. We are more than things to be looked at. I know that is is soooo important to be healthy, but I also know that this body I am in is such a temporary thing and I'm not going to be taking it with me when I go. Therefore, I need to adjust my focus onto the things I can take. I need to work on creating a better Malori.
I believe that being healthy is so important, but having a treat isn't so bad. It's all about having balance in your life. Don't stress too much about being healthy but don't let yourself go.

To be a Kid Again

Started the day working in the School Garden for Community Service Day!
Then we decided to go on an adventure.. Sun roof open ✔
Laffy Taffys brought us back to the younger years 🍬
But this took us way back... Got ourselves water guns to attack the other kids still working and hid our identity with McDonalds bags. 🙈
Ended the day with some Snow Cones(:

Unfair Sunlight

Why can't the sun evenly distribute?
As you can see, my face is African American, but as for my hand, it is Irish. What a shame... 👎
